For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology

Welcome to the Bronx H.S. of Science's All-Girls FIRST Robotics Team, the FeMaidens. As a team comprised solely of female members, we hope to dissolve the prejudices of women in technology and engineering. We also emphasize trust and team work with the hopes of creating a comfortable, enthusiastic, and motivated team-environment.

FIRST Steamworks

2017 Game

Teams must build robots that to prepare an airship for takeoff! The objectives are to get fuel into boilers, gears up to airship personnel and/or climb the airship.

FIRST Stronghold

2016 Game

Teams must build robots that can infiltrate enemy defenses. Robots must be able to climb over various defenses, some chosen by the alliances, some by the audience. Climbing your opponent's tower gets an alliance extra points!

Recycle Rush

2015 Game

Teams must build robots that can recycle litter and stack totes. Robots must be able to stack totes and recycling containers and put litter into these recycling containers.
